Promotion planning with spreadsheet and timeline interfaces

Frontend Architect / Tech Lead

Context

Business managers needed to coordinate product promotions across retail networks. The application combined spreadsheet-like planning, linked data and business-rule validation with a visual campaign timeline. My frontend work sat within an established high-level architecture.

My contribution

I authored the frontend low-level design and translated it into implementation scopes. I built spreadsheet-like editing with linked data and business-rule validation, and implemented backend-driven page composition using React, TypeScript and Redux.

I proposed and delivered a visual campaign timeline with draggable and resizable promotion blocks. I also built a four-person frontend team including myself, combining technical planning and collaboration with backend and data colleagues with hands-on implementation.

Outcome

The MVP was delivered in approximately nine months, and work continued through the planned product scope. The application was used by approximately 40 business managers.
